Zoe Atkin of Britain wins silver in the halfpipe at the Freeski World Championships.

With a silver in the freeski halfpipe at the World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia, Zoe Atkin of the United Kingdom won back-to-back medals.

A bronze medalist at the previous Worlds, the 20-year-old placed third in qualifying for the final and outperformed her competitors by scoring 94.50 in the second run.

However, on the competition’s sixth run, American Hanna Faulhaber, 18, beat her with a score of 95.75.

“It’s incredible. I’m very excited and proud, “Atkin stated.
